Northern Exchange were a short lived cross-Pennine duo comprising of Joanne Ellis and Richard Adams. This was their only EP and was recorded in the summer of 2014. The aim of the band was to explore simplicity by using as few instruments as possible. They were said to be influenced solely by Young Marble Giants.

I thoroughly enjoy this entire release. I have been a massive fan of Hood for well over a decade now, and I am so very grateful that you continue to put out music. I'm also grateful that I was able to cop the digital the day before my birthday. What a wonderful gift! crimecinema
